Flip 4 Coins Battle Coins series, will be the first USA launch of War Titans products. War Titans was developed by Walter McDaniel, in collaboration with Ken Smith, when a toy opportunity arose abroad, which is actually what led Walter to Hong Kong and later Beijing, China, where he has resided since 2004 building Black Dragon and Red Dragon Entertainment. War Titans was introduced as a collectible toy line, called Slingers, which outsold Star Wars and Marvel Slingers in Germany and Spain.
WAR TITANS: The Story
Enter Elysium:
A parallel world to Earth, Elysium is the kingdom of the Titans. Each Titan commands his own territory. All was peaceful until Hades, lord of the underworld mounted an attack to take control of all of Elysium. His power nearly infinite, it took that combined effort of all of the other Titans to stop him. When the War of Elysium had ended, Hades had been removed from his physical form, seething with anger. There was peace once again.
The Disappearance of Athena:
Without warning, Athena has disappeared. The apparent abduction of the Greek Titan of Wisdom and War sends Elysium into worldwide tension. Matters get worse when Toth, the Egyptian Titan of Wisdom also vanishes. Suspicions build. There is no evidence, but both the Greek and Egyptian Titans want war. Nations begin to take sides. To avert a global conflict, Hercules is sent to investigate Athena’s disappearance. Teaming with Thor, his one time mentor, Hercules heads across Elysium, seeking the truth behind both disappearances.
The Vengeance of Hades:
Hades’ dark machination is behind both disappearances. Seeking corporeal form once again, he has kidnapped the two Titans of wisdom in an attempt to harness their power and become flesh once again. Even more terrifying is Hades final plan. He has found a portal that will lead him to a sister world, a world that if destroyed will give him the ultimate power over Elysium…Earth.
As a civil war brews in Thor’s homeland, and the Greek Titans reach a fever pitch in their anger, Thor and Hercules must enlist the aid of the few Titans that will listen in order to stop Hades’ plan before Hades ushers in the destruction of two worlds.
More about Walter McDaniel
Walter began his career as an artist at the age of 16, working for Prometheus Productions. He soon after went to work for Marvel, as lead penciller for titles such as Wolverine, Deadpool, X-Men, Captain America, Ghost Rider, Gambit, Ka-Zar, Gambit, Punisher and Deathlok, as well as DC’s Batman (which brought Walter full circle, after having studied under legendary Batman artist, Neal Adams.
Walter met Ken Smith in 1998, as Ken was preparing to launch Stark Raven. The two worked together closely in creating around 200 pages of comic book content, toys and development of an animation trailer. The two continued working together on a Mortal Kombat comic book (for Nubytech), and development of original content in conjunction with Haschel Toys. The two have remained close friends through the trials of entrepreneurship, and are excited to bring both original and licensed content to the USA, beginning with War Titans, and Stark Raven.
